Verizon Recycling Cell Phones in Idaho to help prevent Domestic Violence

Idaho State university is teaming up with Verizon to provide special bins across the University’s several campuses to enable students to recycle their old Verizon phones for a good cause.

The scheme is part of the Verizon’s HopeLine program which provides aid to domestic violence prevention activities including local shelters and organisations. The three campuses taking park are Meridian, Pocatello and Idaho Falls.

Verizon cell phones can be handed in, and phones from any network or provider. Phones that can be refurbished are sold on, while the others are scrapped in an eco-friendly manner. Even these scrapped phones can provide funds due to the precious metals found inside most modern cell phones.

Verizon have been refurbishing and recycling old cell phones since 1999 and so far the Hopeline project has given out more than ten million dollars. They have also collected 8million cell phones during that time.

Refurbished Verizon Cell Phones – As continuation on from the the previous article that Verizon Wireless have updated most of southern Florida counties with new and reinforced tech to boost broadband and protect against extreme weather by utilising smaller station. Latest news down the wire is that Verizon has decided to upgrade its network in West Virginia, luck old Virginians I hear you say. According to latest reports Verizon has decided to improve the local area with an upgrade in the East near the Charleston area situated approximately McCormick Street and Interstates 77 and 64. This is great news if your a Verizon Wireless customer, the overall improvement will allow consumers to avail of a substantial increase in data and voice and broadband services. Due to the increase in smart phones and other devices more and more people are suing more and more social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Combine this usage with the new features that a lot of smart phones bring video calling face to face time picture texting and video streaming. Applications or apps have increased exponentially over the last few years which goes without saying that they demand the very best coverage that service providers are willing give due to the demands that said device need to work. So if its home or office use that upgrade to services to the area can only be seen as a good thing for Verizon consumers.

The improvement scheme investment that verizon has decided to is part of an overall plan to increase its business a highlyycompetitivee market and there is no prize for second place in thecut-throatttelecommunicationn market. Refurbished Verizon Cell Phones – Verizon and AT&T give Florida a boost

Refurbished Verizon Cell Phones – Looks like Florida South is getting a substantial upgrade in cell and broadband services. The upgrade in coverage is being rolled out in most of Southern Florida ot to be out done in the competitive in areas like Palm Beach County and Hollywood among others. AT&T are rolling out a massive increase which it hope will improve its wireless capability. This service will bring huge improvement to broadband mobile and increase the amount of cell usage and alleviate the increasing traffic. A list of some of the regions that will be upgraded are listed as follows Lake Park, Fort Lauderdale, North Lauderdale, Lauderdale by the Sea, , Coral Springs, Margate, Pompano Beach, and Hollywood Hillsboro Beach and West Palm Beach Wellington, Riviera Beach, Lake Park, and Palm Beach Gardens in Palm Beach .Not to be out done or upstage in the ultra competitive telecoms market the latest news is that now Verizon is investing in a new 200 million plus 4G LTE ( yes fourth generation long term evolution) wireless technology. Verizon reckons approximately three quarters of Florida will soon or already have this new fourth generation. Some of the states involved in the Verizon 200 million upgrade are in no particular order Tallahassee, Miami,Jacksonville,West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale Daytona Beach, Orlanda, Pensacola, Tampa Bay, Tallahassee,Gainesville, Bradenton, Fort Myers and last but not least Jacksonville. Its nice to see South Florida its really great to see Verizon upgrade and as well as strengthening the underlying 3g network. Another benefiting factor is the reinforcements of existing cell tower transmitters tech sites to extreme weather conditions which Florida has all to sadly been subjected to over the years.

These upgrades include in house power systems that arent reliant on the local grid. Verizon have outdone themselves with this by sending out a dedicated group of cellphone data techies with sensitive testing equipment to ensure quality and compliance.
